			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The renowned Texas writer, Sandra Brown, has accepted an invitation from The Friends of the Frisco Public Library to make a personal appearance at the library on November 12, 2009.  Her books are checked out at our library more than books by any other mystery writer.</p>
<p>There will be both a reception and a reading and book signing with Sandra Brown.  She will have her two latest books, &#8220;Rainwater&#8221; and &#8220;Slash Cut&#8221;  for sale and autographing..</p>
<p>A reception with light refreshments will be held in the &#8220;Clock Room&#8221; on the 5th floor of City Hall beginning at 6:30 P. M.  A donation of $35.00 is suggested to attend both the reception and the reading..</p>
<p>Tickets to attend only the reading and book signing beginning at 7:30 P.M.are $20.00.</p>
<p>Go to wwwfriscolibrary.com for tickets and more information.  Tickets can be purchased at the &#8220;ask me&#8221; desk on the first floor of the library.</p>

<p><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>What:</strong></span></p>
<p>Mosey on down to the Frisco Heritage Museum for the Shawnee Trail Cowboy Day, 1-5 p.m., Sunday, November 15 and witness authentic Old West gun fights or catch a free ride in a stagecoach. Explore the museum for a look at artifacts used by real cowboys and learn about the Shawnee Trail. The exhibit includes items of clothing, maps, spurs, guns, saddles and other memorabilia never exhibited before now.</p>
<p>Some of the structure in Heritage Center will also be open to the public in conjunction with this event.</p>
