How to use the Frisco Genealogy Associate Web Site
This is a
TWikiSite (pronounced
twee-kee site), a meeting place to work on common interests. Anyone can contribute using any web browser. Heritage Association looks like a normal web site... except that it encourages contribution and
editing of pages, questions, answers, comments and updates.
"Wiki" systems are fundamentally editable web pages. It's a fun and useful way of communicating asynchronously over the web for many existing intranet and public Internet sites. TWiki is simple to learn and use. It aims to provide a transparent way for you to publish and exchange your ideas with others over the web.
A
TWikiSite is divided into webs, each one represents an area for collaboration. Each web is made up of hyperlinked
TWikiTopics that appear in your browser. Some good places to learn more:
Registration
We encourage all of our
guests to register with the system, although it is
not required for viewing. Editing of certain topics is restricted to members of the
genealogy website team. We encourage
everyone to contribute research whether it be surname research, old photographs, or general research related to the Frisco community. To contribute, you must be a registered user. Editing of your contributions will be restricted to only you and members of the genealogy website team.
