Why should I join the Heritage Association of Frisco?
The HAF is dedicated to preserving and sharing the rich history of Frisco. Sharing this history will make our City stronger. Even though you may be a newcomer to Frisco, you are already part of its history.

Photograph Collections
How do I create and load my photograph collection?
- Go to the photo collections home page and click the Create a photo collection button.
- Enter a title on the line starting with *---+!! *, such as "---+!! Bethel Cemeter, by Claudia Kraemer".
- Enter as much description as you want on the next few lines and then Save the page. Do not modify anything below the --- line.
- You will need to prepare your photograph for the web. Images from cameras are way too big. Here's what I recommend:
- Install the free photo resizing software.
- Size your photograph to a maximum larger dimension of 600.
- The maximum permissible file size is 100KB.
- Go to your photo collection and click the Attach link at the bottom of the page. You will need to be logged into the system in order to see this button.
- Browse to the file location on your computer and enter a descriptive comment. Don't change any of the other settings. Just click Upload file.
- Do not have extra dots "." embedded in the filename. A file such as "my.filename.jpg" will upload but not appear. It should be named "myfilename.jpg".
- If you click on the small red dot next to a thumbnail, you will be able to enter or modify your comment.
