Harold Lane was born in 1923 in Frisco, Texas. He attended Frisco Public Schools and upon graduation, entered Texas A & M. During World War II he served in the European Theater under George Patton. He received a victory ribbon, good conduct medal, theater ribbon, EAME theater ribbon and two bronze stars. After being discharged from the Army he returned to Texas A & M and finished his degree in accounting. He went to work for Standard Oil in Houston, Texas and was later transferred to San Franciso, California with Standard Oil of California. Later he went to work for Dart Industries and was located in Phoenix, Arizona where he retired. After retirement he moved back to Frisco, Texas. Harold passed away on September 1, 2010 after a fatal heart attack. He will be greatly missed by family and friends.
