Meetings in 2018 will be held in the Frisco Heritage Museum Second Floor Theater from 7-8:30 PM on the following dates. Details on presentation topics and speakers will be added as they are known.

Stories of Frisco
A special presentation by local historians Bob Warren and Sam Roach telling stories of growing up in Frisco when it was a small farming community and how they have seen it grow into a busy suburban community.
February 22, 2018
NEW MEETING TIME AND LOCATION. The Heritage Association will help Hotel Indigo celebrate its grand opening just prior to February’s meeting which will be at the hotel. The Indigo is an upscale, contemporary hotel that has incorporated touches of “old Frisco” in its furnishings and décor. HAF volunteers in costume will help greet attendees to the grand opening from 6-8pm. HAF will hold a brief business meeting at the hotel at 8pm. Come at your leisure for a tour then stay for the meeting.

A “Green” Frisco
Molly Kinson, Environmental Education Coordinator, City of Frisco, will present about ways to reduce your waste at home by recycling and disposing of hazardous waste and prescription medications responsibly. As Frisco continues to grow by leaps and bounds, it is important to remember that the key to Frisco’s sustainable future is keeping our community clean today, while also “thinking green” for tomorrow.

Mayor Cheney will lead a discussion as we talk about Frisco’s future and Frisco’s past. How can we effectively honor Frisco’s unique history while still being true to the tagline “Progress in Motion”. Mayor Cheney has some ideas and wants to talk with us about integrating elements of our past into our future.
