Wounded In Action: April 10, 2012

Staff Sergeant Travis Mills was assigned to the 4th Squadron, 73rd Cavalry Regiment, 82nd Airborne Division, on his third tour of duty in Afghanistan, when he was severely wounded by an IED on April 10, 2012.  He became one of few quadriplegic to survive their wounds.  His family were living in Frisco, Texas at the time of deployment, and his wife is a graduate of Centennial High School.  Travis considers himself a recalibrated warrior, and he has founded the Travis Mills Foundation to support similar veterans and their families.
